Automated Control Systems, Inc. (ACS), a Louisiana Corporation established in 1987, has its corporate headquarters in Metairie, La. We provide expertise in multiple “Low Voltage” building technologies including Energy, Security and System Integrations while serving portions of Louisiana and Mississippi. We offer three major portfolios: Energy, Security and HVAC Solutions. We have the factory support, technical expertise, and research and development to provide “state-of-the-art” products and solutions, yet as an independent partner, our corporate decisions are made locally with the client’s best interest in mind.
We provide solutions for the HVAC Facility Management and Temperature Control industry along with other related venues such as Variable Frequency Drives, Motor Starters and Controllers, Video and Card Access Security, APC Power Solutions, Heat Trace Cable, Ultra Violet Lights and Water Filtration Systems.

PAUL REUTER
Paul earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Orleans in 1982. Paul is a Licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer in the State of Louisiana. He began his career as a Sales Engineer for Johnson Controls, Inc. in 1982. Since 1982 he has vast industry experience in the sales, marketing, design, programming, installation, commissioning of BAS and HVAC-related systems. He is a member of the American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Louisiana Engineering Society (LES), National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE). He is also a member and Board of Director of Inside IQ Building Alliance (www.insideiq.org).

WAYNE DURR
Wayne received a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Louisiana State University in 1982. He is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), and a LEED Accredited Professional. Wayne began his career as a Sales Engineer for Johnson Controls, Inc. in 1982. Since 1982 he also has industry experience in sales, marketing, design, programming, installation, commissioning of BAS and HVAC-related systems. Wayne is a member of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). He is also a member and former Board of Director of Inside IQ Building Alliance (www.insideiq.org).

PAUL REUTER, JR.
Paul obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Construction Management from Louisiana State University in 2012. Paul is an Engineer in Training with industry experience in the sales, marketing, design, and installation of BMS systems. He is a member of American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and Louisiana Engineering Society. Paul served as President of the local ASHRAE in 2018. He has been employed with Automated Control Systems, Inc. since 2012.

LAUREN KENNEY
Lauren is a highly accomplished professional with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering and a Master's in Business Administration from Louisiana State University. With over a decade of industry experience, Lauren has excelled in various roles in marketing, design, programming, installation, and commissioning of Building Management Systems (BMS). Since joining Automated Control Systems, Inc. in 2014, Lauren's strategic leadership has contributed to the company's success and positioned it as an industry leader. Her commitment to excellence, dedication to operational efficiency, and participation in the Leadership Jefferson Class of 2023 highlight her exceptional qualifications as a director-level professional. Lauren embodies the company's vision and values, and sets a high standard for performance and leadership.

JIM STAHNKE
Jim secured a Bachelor of Banking and Finance from the University of Mississippi in 1972. Jim specializes in the Video and Card Access Security industry. Jim has been with Automated Control Systems, Inc. since 2010.

JONATHAN WELLS
Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Management with a Minor in History from the University of New Orleans in 2003. Jonathan handles our HVAC product sales and services including VFDs, Starters, UV, and Heat Trace. He has been employed with Automated Control Systems, Inc. since 2006.
HVAC TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER
JEFFREY CHEEK
Jeffrey has over 25 years of experience managing all aspects of complex facilities and associated systems and equipment. He is responsible for service and maintenance projects from start to finish that include HVAC mechanical, chillers, boilers, building automation, electrical, water treatment and filtration, and emergency power distribution systems. Jeffrey is involved in sales as well as project implementation and joined our team in 2022.
