Office Facility in New Orleans, LA
The former Old Dominion Tower was heavily damaged during Hurricane Katrina. The office building was purchased by the Benson family and was completely renovated. Automated Control Systems was selected as the BAS contractor for the renovations to the Benson Tower and worked closely with the design team in helping the new Benson Tower achieve LEED Certification.
Museum Facility in New Orleans, LA
When The Historic New Orleans Collection purchased and renovated The Seignoret-Brulatour House into a museum facility, Automated Control Systems, Inc. was chosen to assist in installing Schneider Electric EcoStruxure temperature controls and BAS to monitor and operate a highly controlled space for temperature and humidity. The museum combines multiple mechanical systems including VRF, CHW, CDW, and HW to maintain optimal conditions.
Casino in Kenner, LA
Automated Control Systems, Inc. was selected to provide the HVAC temperature control system for the newly constructed Boyd Gaming Casino. The system included temperature controls for chilled water, hot water, gaming equipment, as well as air quality safety monitoring.
Hospital Facility in Covington, LA
Automated Control Systems, Inc. completed the termperature controls on the original renovation in the 1990s. We have worked with the owner on upgrades and expansion to the facility as it has grown to provide building automation and variable frequency drive solutions for the HVAC and ventilation systems.

Hospitality Facility in New Orleans, LA
New Orleans and Company contracted with Automated Control Systems to help reduce their utility bills and make a stronger move in the “Green” direction. To reduce their utility spend, the building was retrofitted with new LED lighting, and the Building Automation System was upgraded and recommissioned. Automated Control Systems, Inc. worked closely with the Entergy Energy Smart program to help the customer receive utility rebates as a result of the LED lighting, the BAS recommissioning, and the Entergy Automated Demand Response Program.
Hotel in New Orleans, LA
Automated Control Systems, Inc. (ACS) was selected as the controls contractor for the construction of the Virgin Hotel. Working closely with the mechanical and general contractors, ACS installed a Schneider Electric EcoStruxure control system servicing the hotel facilities. The BAS serves as a graphical interface to the chilled and hot water plant as well as AHU, VAV, Kitchen Hood and Exhaust, and Heat Exchanger Systems.
ELECTROCELL WATER FILTRATION
The ElectroCell System was selected as the side stream filtration for the condenser water loop of the newly renovated Four Seasons Hotel located in New Orleans. ElectroCell was selected due to its ability to reduce the consumption of energy and water within the facility, enhancing thermal transfer, giving higher equipment efficiency, and providing a cleaner, greener, and healthier operation.
Assisted Living Facility in New Orleans, LA
Automated Control Systems, Inc. furnished the original temperature controls system at John J. Hainkel Rehab & Home in 2009. The property recently went through a renovation as Audubon Retirement Village, where ACS was again selected to assist in providing temperature controls as well as a BAS for energy management and graphical interface.
Hotel in New Orleans, LA
Automated Control Systems Inc. was selected to integrate with the new Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) guestroom and facility controls system. This integration allows end users a graphical interface and energy management capabilities from both a remote and localized system.

Automated Control Systems, Inc. furnished ABB ACH580 series variable frequency drives to meet the customer’s energy efficiency, reliability, and service needs for their upgraded facility.
High School in Prairieville, LA
With the expanding needs of Ascension Parish, a new high school campus was constructed on 65 acres with 320,000 sqft of conditioned space. Automated Control Systems, Inc. was selected to install Schneider Electric temperature controls across the multiple school buildings, gyms, and plant facilities. Additionally, ABB variable frequency drives were selected to control the CHW and HW pumping systems for seamless integration into the temperature control system.
Theatre in New Orleans, LA
The Orpheum Theatre received a new Distech temperature control system to optimize space temperature and humidity to assist in preserving the historic theatre. With new controllers and BAS, the facility can monitor conditions for guest and performer experiences while maintaining the historic atmosphere.
Cathedral and Community Space in Baton Rouge, LA
Automated Control Systems, Inc. was able to provide the 150+ year old cathedral and associated parish community centers with an upgraded temperature control system using Distech Controls. Creating a uniform control system under a centralized interface, the parish can now easily provide comfortable gathering spaces and preserve the historic Cathedral.
