The Sazerac House
The Sazerac House, a new interactive cocktail museum, is set to open in October 2019. The 48,000 square-foot, historic building stands on the corner of Canal and Magazine Streets. The five-story building dating back to the 1860s will house interactive exhibits, a retail shop, event space and corporate offices. Automated Control Systems was selected to provide a Schneider Electric BAS, ABB Variable Frequency Drives, Micro Distillery Ice Storage Tank Controls, and Ethanol Vapor Sensor Controls.
Louisiana Bar Association
Automated Control Systems installed a Schneider BMS in 2010 in the Louisiana Bar Association Building across from Lafayette Square. This system’s network controller was upgraded in 2019 to the latest technology available. The original field controllers were still operational and able to remain, saving the customer from upgrading the entire system at one time.
Iberia Bank , Metairie LA.
Automated Control Systems worked closely with Iberia Bank and Entrgy Solutions in upgrading the BAS system in the exsiting four-story office building. With the upgraded BAS System, Iberia Bank was able to save approximatley $12,000 per year in utiity costs.
Slidell Greenbriar Community Care Center
Automated Control Systems was selected to provide a Schneider Electric BAS for the Slidell Greenbriar project.
Founded in New Orleans in 1907, the Dixie Brewery will bring production of Dixie Beer back to New Orleans for the first time since Hurricane Katrina, which displaced the brand. The brewing facility will be built in an 80,000-square-foot portion of the building and, at least initially, will be able to brew about 1,000 barrels of beer a month. The brewery also includes a tap room and recreational space on a green area in front of the brewery. Automated Control Systems was selected to provide a Schneider Electric BAS for the Dixie Brewery.
Automated Control Systems was selected to replace the existing control system with a Schneider Electric BAS. Automated Control Systems designed and implemented a sequence of operation for improved patient satisfaction while reducing energy consumption.
Shops at Canal Place
Automated Control Systems has installed Schneider Electric BMS systems and ABB Variable Frequency Drives in the mall common area, as well as standalone Schneider solutions in several of the individual stores.
Automated Control Systems was selected on this design build project as the low voltage HVAC temperature controls contractor. The Odeon at South Market is a mixed-use, market-rate multifamily project set to be complete by fall 2020. At 30 stories, it’s the tallest building constructed in New Orleans in over thirty years. The Odeon will feature 25 stories of housing, in addition to four floors of retail space and parking.
Automated Control Systems was selected to provide a Schneider Electric BAS for the Christ Church renovation project. ACS worked closely with the owner and contractors on this phased project to not disrupt the operations of the church and to preserve the historic plaster walls and ceilings.
Automated Control Systems was selected by InterContinental Hotel to replace the antiquated HVAC control system. Automated Controls designed and implemented a central plant control system which improved performance, reliability, and reduced maintenance. Since the hotel remained operational, ACS worked closely with the hotel to replace the HVAC controls in phases.
Good Shepherd School
Automated Control Systems was selected to provide a Schneider Electric BAS for the new Good Shepherd Campus located in Gentilly.
Peter and Paul Hotel
Hotel Peter and Paul was a renovation of St. Peter and Paul historic school, church, convent and rectory. The renovated spaces consist of hotel rooms, an event space, and restaurant, lounge and bar spaces. Automated Control Systems installed a Schneider Electric BMS system throughout the property utilizing both wired and wireless technology. We also installed ABB Variable Frequency Drives.
The Seignouret-Brulatour House recently underwent a major renovation through the Historic New Orleans Collection. This is a museum facility, and maintaining proper humidity and temperature control is crucial to the space. Automated Control System was selected to install a Schneider Electric Building Automation System throughout the building to help maintain the proper conditions.
The main nine-story building was built in 1927 to house New Orleans Public Service Inc., the city's utility company, and its employees. Automated Control Systems was selected to provide a Schneider Electric BAS for the 217-room luxury hotel development and restaurant.
Automated Control Systems was selected for the design build project of the historic Jung Hotel & Residences to provide a Schneider Electric BAS, as well as, ABB Variable Frequency Drives.
St. Tammany Parish Schools
Automated Control Systems was selected to replace the existing control system with a Schneider Electric BAS at eight St. Tammany parish schools. Designs ranged from complex chilled & hot water systems to VRF with outdoor air VAV boxes.
Juvenile Justice / Youth Study Center
Automated Control Systems, Inc. has completed a $2.4 million building automation system (BAS)
integration in the new Juvenile Justice Center in New Orleans. The facility, which has been under construction
in phases since 2013, was completed this year and replaces a temporary juvenile center constructed after the
original facility was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina ten years ago.

Ritz-Carlton New Orleans ElectroCell System
Automated Control Systems furnished an ElectroCell Hi-Tech Filtration System for the Ritz-Carlton Hotel on Canal Street in New Orleans. The system consisted of an X-Cell 2000 skid for the 3000 Ton open loop system and an X-Cell 200 skid for the closed loop. The estimated ROI for the Electrocell System is 2 years.

Villa Additions in Slidell
Automated Control Systems was awarded the contract o provide the DDC controls for this this grrenfield project located in Slidell, La. This facility provides affordable housing for the low income elderly and disabled. Villa Additions will take the place of a similar facility located in the Ninth Ward of New Orleans that did not reopen after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The project is scheduled for completion in in the late summer or early fall of 2016.Villa Additions in Slidell

Automated Control Systems is nearing completion of the HVAC temperature control system at the three buildings comprising the Desire Street Ministries facility. The facility is comprised of a community center, an early childhood center and a medical clinic. The project is scheduled for completion in in the summer of 2016.Desire Street Facility
600 Carondelet Street, New Orleans
Automated Control Systems just completed the HVAC temperature control system at the newly renovated ACE Hotel. The 234-room, $80 million hotel occupies the Art Deco Building, which was commissioned in 1928 and once was the home to the Max Barnett Furniture Store. The ACE Hotel opened in March 2016.
AT&T Diamond One Project
Automated Control Systems, Inc. was authorized by AT&T to convert the old Diamond 1 Card Access Systems to the AT&T National Standard Andover – Continuum Card and HID iClass Card Access System. The nine-month project, scheduled for completion in June 2016, involves more than 178 buildings through out Louisiana and Mississippi.
Automated Control Systems, Inc. has previously installed over seventy-six Andover Systems prior to this project and is currently under contract to AT&T for installations and service going forward.

Loyola opens renovated apartment-style residence hall along St. Charles Avenue

Upgraded metro New Orleans levees will greatly reduce flooding, even in 500-year storms

Juvenile Justice Center

Loyola building achieves LEED Silver status for its sustainability
Automated Control Systems was the LEED Administrator for the the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic and Center for Social Justice located on the Broadway Campus of Loyola University in New Orleans.
Thomas Hall receives LEED Gold status

The Changing Face of Loyola: Campus Renovations Poise University for Second Century

Historic Thomas Hall renovation celebrated with open house and dedication
Loyola University New Orleans recently completed a major renovation of Thomas Hall, one of the university’s original buildings, which served as a residence and chapel for Jesuits of the New Orleans Province until 2005. To celebrate the renovation’s completion, the university will host an open house at Thomas Hall on Sept. 27, with a dedication ceremony for the Loyola community at 12:30 p.m. and a reception for the general public starting at 5 p.m.

Loyola leads the charge in sustainability initiatives
